The previous comments about this RV park are quite accurate, and I won't repeat them here. One thing I would like to point out is that they sprinkle a large amount of water on their grass each and every night. Don't leave anything that is not waterproof outside your rig overnight, and be prepared to get your feet wet every morning.

This is a brand new 55+ park, which accounts for the "no shade sites" listing. The staff was very friendly and helpful, but they have a big lack of ambience to make up for. While it is convenient to get to from I-10, it is sandwiched between the busy 24 hour freeway and the equally busy 24 hour railroad tracks, which makes sleeping without earplugs practically impossible.

This is a former US Army Corp of Engineers built campground on Grapevine Lake that's been taken over by Marinas International. The staff is very friendly, the sites are well located and separated, making the overall feel of the place very pleasant. The $25 rate jumps to $35 for any night that is included in a holiday weekend. Some sites don't have water and electric hookups. Reservation changes are discouraged - you get one free, and then you are charged a fee depending on the length of notice. Refunds for checking out early are not available on site. You have to mail a request for refund to their main office and wait. The campground address is 4920 Wichita Trail, Flower Mound, TX 75022.

This is definitely a family campground and not an RV park. The sites are laid out so there are lots of tents and pop-ups intermixed with larger units. There is no pavement, so dust is raised by any and all traffic.

Very friendly folks. Nice setting for spending several days relaxing around the June Lake area.

This park is beginning to show its age. Staff was friendly, and the facilities are clean, but beginning to get run down. It's a handy place to stay for a couple of days as a base to explore the Reno and Truckee area.
